I really hate to sound like I'm whining or anything with this one, but this is the only thing that came to mind when I sat down to write this. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for reading.

Hmm...
I expected to see this at least once.
Nicely written, although somewhat upsetting.
You are not a disappointment.  I'm sure that you make your father proud, whether he says so or not.

Oh my, I wasn't expecting to read one like this, but good job on it.  It really conveys the feelings well, even though it's short.

now why would say such a thing
not all guys want their first born to be boys you know
I'd prefer to have a girl first
and that's not a joke
i think girl become more responsible earlier adn would take care of their sibling better than boys
at least that's my opinion
great job with the poem though
really caught my attention

How can a person who is as talented as you be a disappointment to anyone?  If anyone is stupid enough to think you're a disappointment...don't worry, it's their loss for not taking time to get to know a person as wonderful as you!  I was beautifully written, if somewhat sad.

Awww... this was good. I understand what you are saying, originally maybe your father wanted a boy.... most dad's do. But I'm sure you make him proud.

Hey I was a disappiontment early in my life too.  My mom wanted a redhead.  I have brown hair.  But I am now one because I am not where my parents think I should be in life.  To disappoint is part of life, as far as I have seen, but one should never feel that from one's parents.  I feel for you.  As a poet, your class is far above mine.  I couldn't hope to write something like that.  Greatly written(if that can be a phrase).

The White Wolf

PS  Maybe I should of said wonderfully written but I like to be a little bit different.
