Fire Engine. Your blue flashing lights, A wailing siren, You race through the night, With your fire men, A red engined glory, Fighting off the fire, A fire engine story, If I might enquire, Racing through red lights, To seek out the blaze, On cold winter nights, And warm summer days, A fire engine beauty, The bells ring a call, So your off on your duty, When I finally fall. <<< Andrew >>> " No Army can conquer a galaxy, yet faith alone can overturn the universe." |

Ah! This poem is good... very good... because of the last line! It got my brain working over.... and me reading the poem several times. This is tough to do, great job! ~Allan The sun was born, so it shall die. ~VNV Nation, "Further" |

Nice job, Andrew! I really like this.. the flow was great, and the ending was excellent. Nicely done. --Marie "Hope is a thing with feathers that perches in the soul." --Emily Dickinson |

I liked this poem, the ending to it is really excelent. i thought the flow at the begining could use a little work, but other than that this was great. keep posting your work. Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing. |

Great poem. Very good rhyme. I agree with Marie about the flow of it. Very nice. *If the only place I can live my dreams is in my sleep, then I'll sleep forever!* |

Great! This poem was astounding! I felt as though the deep meaning within such a plain topic such as the fire engine was great. I really enjoyed this. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
