Looking at the little girl I once was,
I wish I could travel back in time,
To warn her of the hurt she would feel,
To give her strength, to ease her mind

To let her know the future holds
nothing of goodness for her,
That she will seldom feel joy,
That she would be me for sure.

But how do you destroy someones dream
Like the dream that I once had
I guess it takes time
Either way I'll be sad

Then I wake up and realize that I am who I am...

And the scariest part is I can't change it

Then deal with it.
Don't ever change who you are for any reasons but your own.

....peace as a primary objective is dangerous because it implies that we would sacrifice any principle for the sake of it....

I liked this. I completely agree with allan.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.
