Seduction of Music's Passion |

The following is basically how I feel about music, along with writing it is my biggest passion. It does need help with the title however. Inside my hallow room, My Guitar by my side, Call to all who dream of listening, Call to all who I can confide. My voice is my message, To a world so torn with strife, Absorbed into the anger, A shallow attempt at salvation of life. I write as if I mean it, I sing as if to save, I play as if they’ll listen, But I live as if a slave. The words they make no difference, Only the notes can be understood, Live as though it’s the last, Listen as though no one else could. My passion is my guidance, If only it could live for me, Due to this seduction, My true self you may never see. I write as if I mean it, I sing as if to save, I play as if they’ll listen, But I live as if a slave. I do as I’m told during the day, My only deliverance comes at night, At night when I can escape, And let the music be my light. It holds me safe in remembrance, Of things I once may have known, Things that don’t act as rocks, In this river of my life to which I drown. But I write as if I mean it, And I sing as if to save, I play as if they’ll listen, But I’ll always be a slave. |

This was an amazing song. I truly enjoyed this one. You play guitar? That's sexy. I do too.... Anyhow, GREAT job on this. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

Heh..... once again, we need more words that rhyme with "life." I always laugh at that.... the poor English language. Well I think you did a good job on this one! I especially like the alternating forms in each stanza. And Javier's right... playing guitar is sexy! *inches towards Javier* ~Allan The sun was born, so it shall die. ~VNV Nation, "Further" |
