NOTE: Continuation of "Failure". These little haikus/tankas/senryus are a concluding chapter to my "End of the World Series." I couldn't muster up the creative strength to write down the pure emotion that I have for the conclusion, so I'm doing it in modules. Perhaps later I will do it in a final poem All there was was war My failure all around me The climax of hate But a man has come to save Brutal murders spawn his hate "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |

I like these frac. Nicely done! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

I've seen a lot of short ones from you lately.. Usually I'm not a fan of real short poems, but this is another very well done poem. Keep it up.. --Marie It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. |

Very nicely done, Frac! I really like Tankas, this one is marvelous. I enjoy the series a lot... hope you get to make that concluding poem soon. ~Allan The sun was born, so it shall die. ~VNV Nation, "Further" |
