Endless numbers
Scroll past my vid-screen,
No one can stop me,
Why can’t they see?

My fingers are a blur,
Entering my special codes,
Hiding my tracks,
Hiding the give-away facts.

Let them think what
They will, They’ll
Never catch me,
Because me they’ll never see.

Just a mark here,
Just my mark to prove
That I am the best,
That I can complete this addictive quest.

I’d better stop now,
Don’t want to get caught.
...Mess with the best...
They’ll just crash like the rest.

One more time,
One more entry,
They won’t find me,
No one can find me.

Busted, careless,
Can’t believe they found me,
Guess even the best,
Will eventually crash like the rest.

(note: I am NOT a hacker. This was just inspired by a movie about them.)

Once I started reading the poem, Actually even before....Once I read the title I thought of the movie "Hackers" which was an awesome movie.......anyhow I thought the poem was ok. Not the best......but still a fun read.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

what the San comes out of his slumber to reply to a poem that is not from Carly?? how can that be?!

hehe.

i cant compare the poem to any of your other poems because i havent read any of it. will i? probably not, but this one catched my eye.

this is the best poetic interpretation of "Hackers" i have ever read. the only and the best.

as for the title, did you mean to change the quote? cause the original one would have applied just right also.

well keep postin!

PS: the original quote, for those who dont know, is "Mess with the Best, die like the rest"

Yes, I meant to change the quote. I really wanted to give it the feeling of dealing with computers, and a crash is something often associated with computers, so I think it fit.

Hey,

I liked this poem a lot its going to my library. I think its a great poem. I have never see hakers but I hear ita a great movie too. I liked hrm I forgot the name but anyways it was a good movie
