An old song reminds me of how you use to be the way you use to act Your not the same anymore it's like your a whole new person now not wanting to share your new life with me I seem to be your past something that only remains in your memory but that memory of me is fading You've said things to me that make me think you said I was the most important person to you but I just can't believe those words because I don't feel important to you When we fight it doesn't effect you that much but when you fight with your new friends you begin to cry Why is it that my best friend has to change why is it that the one friend who is really important to me has to change The one who was suppose to be my brides maid the one who was suppose to be my sister and the aunt to my children has to seperate from me not physically but emotionally This friendship is fading as the years go on this friendhip isn't the same anymore and I don't think it ever will be. Life isn't about holding grudges or starting fights life is meant to be enjoyed |

This is a powerful piece of poetry you have here and i must say it is very well done. I cant say i know how you are feeling because I am not you. I am I. I used to feel the same way about my sister... but it all got better when she moved out. Time away from her will allow you to grow closer to her, I guarantee it. But for now, try to compensate by spending some time away from her, just give her some room and she may begin to miss you, and then the person that you once knew could resurface. Great poem. -Allan |

Poe, I know what you are going through. It really does suck when a person you get along with so much fades away from you. Like Allan said, maybe time away will do you some good. This person may come back to you with an apology and the thing that will make you a greater friend will be to forgive her. Thanks guys for your replies, I did think of spending time away from her but it will be difficult because we have the same friends. I've done this before with her and it did work but she didn't do anything for months. So we'll see where it goes this time. Strongly and powerfully written I guess situations like this do tend to bring out a lot of emotions from within us I was wondering if she really is a sister, or is she like a sister to you well, no matter what, if she's blood, she'll always be blood, and if she's a real friend, then she'll always be a real friend sometimes, in life, we do have trying times so, stay strong I see no changes, wake up in the morning I ask myself, "Is life worth living or should I blast myself" TUPAC SHAKUR |

I'm not gona say I really understand, because I always hate it when people say they understand wheni know they can't. But I can say that this poem speaks to me. And reminds me of loseing one of my best friends. I still miss her. I will pray for you. |
