Through seas of fire I swam And mountains of broken glass I crawled Through dragons caves, dark forests, and all evil places I searched Through all the legions and armies of those who would stop me Surpassing everything they placed in my way Killing every soldier who would keep me from my goal And then after rounding the last ridge and after killing the last evil general and after climbing the tallest mountain I was able to do what I had gone through so much for I could hold you as you cried "Cogito ergo sum"-I think, therefore I exist |

This was exceptional! I was really impressed by the ending. Very nice! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

Yeah, the ending was pretty heavy-hitting. Great job! ~Allan If I had your eyes, I'd be blind. For I can only see out of my own. ~~Carly Van Dort |

This was a very well written poem! I liked this a lot... I love the end. Thanks for sharing. --Marie I never thought that you would ever be the one to let me down. I guess that just goes to show how wrong I always am. |

I agree with everyone else, great poem with a powerful ending. Good writing, keep posting. Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing. |
