The Blues My genuine hand-written accompanyment Grace this page in adornment The flow is fee The words not chosen They choose me Sadness and cheerfulness intertwined Letters smashed in a vocabulary grind Into feelings I soon lose To represent My feelings of the blues A crick in my neck tells me I've spent too much time in poetry Maybe another outlet lies ahead How else to record Things I hear in my head. NOOO! Ozzy, man, you just GOT here! Don't ditch poetry yet! Try other forms... maybe Haiku/Senryu? There are a whole bunch of them..... hmm.... here's a nice list. http://poetic-endeavours.com/main/format_list.html Try some of these. ~Allan If I had your eyes, I'd be blind. For I can only see out of my own. ~~Carly Van Dort |

Nicely done......but like allan said.....if you leave poetry we will all cry and throw hissy fits till the end of time. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

"A crick in my neck tells me I've spent too much time in poetry" Don't leave! You are so talented, and reading your work is an enjoyable thing for so many people here. Good job on the poem... now don't leave! --Marie I never thought that you would ever be the one to let me down. I guess that just goes to show how wrong I always am. |
