Frost on a Tree Captured so suddenly at night Branches unmoving left no fight Icy cage wrapped round oak wood Slivering skin set such a mood Frost a gift for nature and me Brilliant composure simply Craftsman still unchallenged in skill Written New Hampshire on a hill Frost how dost thou describe this tree Frost ever so elagantly There is no snowy evening But gentle dew in the morning Greatest scribe deemed deceased He left with us a poetry feast Wood, fire, and ice are his muses Nature left to our abuses. THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING...AND I ALSO LIKE YOUR RANDOM USE OF SLANT RHYME. ~*~JESILYN~*~ "Tell me why you cry" [This message has been edited by StarPryncess17 (edited 03-20-2001).] |

Frost was a cool dude. (no pun intended. ) Nice tribute. ~Allan If I had your eyes, I'd be blind. For I can only see out of my own. ~~Carly Van Dort |

I don't much like frost..... Anyhow, I think you did this poem VERY well. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you have talent! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

Beautiful imagery! I liked this a lot... very nicely done! --Marie I never thought that you would ever be the one to let me down. I guess that just goes to show how wrong I always am. |
