Where were you?

While I waited for a helping hand

While I wished that I were gone
Where were you?
As I layed alone, sobbing in the dark
Where were you?
When I was at the lowest point in my life
Where were you?
While I dreamed of leaving this world
Where were you?

You say you've always been there
But how could it be true
As I sat wishing for someone
Where were you??

This was outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thank you for reposting this poem. I see that you've added a few more lines to it and they add a LOT of emotion to the poem. I simply love how it's read now!

This is so sweet! Althought it could be a love poem good or love poem bad, depending on if you're happy about who you have, or angry at who you had. Anyway, good poem :-)

I must be missing something here...
well I thought it was good, but not as good as everyone else thought.
You have done better, in my opinion.
But now I'm not normal, and they are gonna pick me last when PIP plays softball.

But they do that already anyways.

This is an excellent question to be asking...its good that you realized now that this person is only there for you in their mind and not their actions. Great poem!

Great job here~its hard when someone supposively is there for you then when you need them the most they're no where to be found. its tough...but we all make it one way or another. great job here, keep it up
