For the One She Misses

Winds carry kisses
For the one she misses
A breath
A touch
Not enough
Is never too much

Someone steals her kisses
He is not the one she misses
I listen
Her voice
Tells me
She made the right choice

A box holds her kisses
Safe for the one she misses
A lock
A key
Do you think
Inside is meant for me?

I'm catching her kisses
Am I the one she misses
A whisper
A sigh
If the answer's "no"
Just let me cry

She's held her kisses for too long
The one she misses never came along
Maybe he did,we'll never know
Either in the daybreak of Summer
Or the twilight of snow
Could it be
The one she misses be me
I'll let her decide
I'll let her make up
My mind.

I wrote this for a very special girl and she treasures it more than me. I guess I can reach people with my poetry.

You are a VERY talented writer. I loved the ending. "let her make up MY mind".....I liked that....very very well done.
