Why do you look at me The way you did today? Why do you give him dirty looks, When it’s me that’s hurting? Why do you look at me, But then quickly look away? Ok, I’m full of questions, But don’t I deserve answers? I admit, I still love you, And I fear I always will. But I’m confused . . . Why do you act like this? What is it that you’re thinking, That’s got my mind in knots? Everytime you look at me, It makes me want to cry. Because I don’t know why, You look at me the way you do. Why do you look at me like that, When you’re the one that ended it? Justin broke up with me a little over two weeks ago, after almost 6 months of dating. Now, everytime I look up, and he's in the room, he's looking at me. Yesterday, on the bus, I was talking to one of my friends, and when I looked, up; he was looking at me, but turned away really quick. Today, I was talking to the same friend, and we both noticed that the whole time, he was looking up front at us. At lunch, he was looking at me, and we had eye contact for a few seconds, I smiled, after all this was the first time we'd had eye contact in over 2 weeks, and he smiled back. There is also a rumor going around that I'm dating this guy that’s in Justin's first period, and Justin is now giving him dirty looks everytime he sees him.... What does all this mean? i dont know if i should cry because its over, or smile because it happened [This message has been edited by Tamma (edited 03-16-2001).] |

This is a really good post. I think it's something to really think about. Break-ups can be hard  I hope things get better for you. All I can say is talk to him. You say that it was the first tim you have eye contact in 2 weeks. Well, maybe it's time to stop avoiding the situation, and talk to him. Just a suggestion. Just know you can talk to anyone here...--Marie I never thought that you would ever be the one to let me down. I guess that just goes to show how wrong I always am. |

Well......No idea on how I feel about the poem. Your love life confuses me a great deal.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

It probably means he is jealous and wishes he hadn't blown it with a beautiful young lady. He's noticing you could be attracted to someone else and he can't stop kicking himself for letting you get away! When you are drawn to someone, you stare, a glance, a look, it's as meaningful as a touch! Try saying hello to him as a friend would and see what happens. I think he still likes you! Tamma, from what you've told me, and what I already knew of the situation, it does sound like he wants you back...but then again, I also think that you should talk to one of those guys you named off to me the other day..."Guy 1" seemed to like you, but then again, so did "Guy 2"...oh, Girl, I don't know what to tell ya...Just have fun for the rest of the year...and then ya can go lookin' in Hawaii... |
