Loving from afar, Wishing on a star, Hoping that you'll be, My eternal one and only. Longing for your touch, Needing you so much, A single loving kiss, Is all I need in this abyss. Praying that you'll see, That I need you here by me, Wishing that one day, You'll hear the words I long to say. But my dream will not come true, No matter how I long for you, Because, my angel, this I see, No angel could love a demon like me. Shouldn't be able to miss what you never had...so why do I miss her so? |

Oh yes, an angel could love a demon. Anyway yer no demon! I liked this though, keep sharing Mr. "Demon".  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

In reply to the two above: I have asked her out, and was turned down. But I can't deny my feelings for her. I'll just keep going this way until either she decides to give me a chance, or until I can block these feelings away and forget them. Anyway, thanks for the comments Shouldn't be able to miss what you never had...so why do I miss her so? |

Certainly, an angel can love a demon. But it is very VERY difficult. I speak from experience, as a demon who once loved an angel. This is a very good poem. I'd expect no different from you, judging by your other two. Although the format you use seems consistent. Maybe try some new styles? Just a thought. ~Allan If I had your eyes, I'd be blind. I don't consider it as putting myself down. By telling myself what flaws I have, I am able to recognize them, and fix them as they come, therefore bettering myself. Doesn't work for everyone, but it works for me. Shouldn't be able to miss what you never had...so why do I miss her so? |

First.. I would like to say that this is an outstanding poem with great depth and powerful meaning. Secondly..an Angel CAN and WILL love a demon for a true Angel sees everything in the light and loves you for who you are and what he or she believes you can or will become.
