I am a conqueror, victorious
Despite travail I shall not be undone
He leads me on a path most glorious
Bequeathed to me in mercy through His Son.
I have a sturdy anchor sure and true
Although fierce raging storms of life assail
His beacon bright shall lead me safely through
The gale for by His side I shall prevail.
I am the child of a mighty King
Adopted by a great and awesome God
Who freely showers me with all good things
To bless me as I tread this mortal sod.

He gives a peace I cannot comprehend
He offers it to you as well, my friend.

Denise

Denise,
the pleasure you give on your writing far excels the number of posts you have. 15,000 smiles is insufficient, 15,000 HuGS small beneficient.
Congratulations on 15,000. Awesome!

This is probably the most wonderful post to celebrate a milestone that I have read.  Truely beautiful and of course full of truth in the love that "he" has for us.  Loved it.  Congrats on your 15000....WOW!!!!!!!!!!  You are soaring high in the walls of fame for sure.  Mainly in your sincerity of your replies to us.  Thank you for making so many of them mine.

You are the sonnet queen, my friend... You write them flawlessly - This one is exceptional.  I love it - especially the final couplet.."He offers it to you as well, my friend".. It's awesome - simply awesome..
