Cheap thrills… with no pills, nothing to drink or smoke… Cheap thrills… cyber chills, because of the words someone spoke… May not be right, must be the daring, How can it really hurt? No more denying, rationalizing… Turn it all off for some hope… In a trap, don’t want to snap… Just seeking a little escape… Looking to the outside. the answer’s within… True love hanging by a thin rope… Cheap thrills…fantasies chill… Who’s really the butt of this joke? ~ live and let live ~ |

Good poem, bbent! I enjoyed this. I guess as in all of life folks can seek refuge from their daily boredom or pain in fantasyland, i.e., cyberland. Denise |

Intriguing! Could it be that true love is always hanging by a thin rope? After all, love is a decision that must be made over and over again, one day at a time. |

I think all things are desided on a daily and sometimes even hourly basis.......... Indeed true love as well as existence itself hang by a thin rope, one we sometimes have little control of while other times we do..the answer lies in knowing which are which..thanks VAS,appreciate your reply..
