Simple Words

she had written nothing new today
all her words were long gone
she had given them all away
to her man, to ponder on

she had said "I love you"
times, times times, times times
and he said "I love you too,
and forever, please, be mine"

and once those words were said
a fever caught her heart, her head,
and he was held in a similar way
till they had nothing new to say

she had written nothing new today
no, all her words were gone
she had given them all away
to her man, to grow fonder on

Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy,
Sunshine in my eyes makes me cry,
Sunshine on the water looks so lovely,
Sunshine almost always makes me high....
oooops..sorry I got carried away..I guess it was your name.
Anyway,Very nice heart felt poem.
