The Sea Took Her < !signature-->The Sea Took Her She listened to the voice of the sea It told her tales of love and mystery She watched the waves crash, break And she thought of her heart’s mistake For the sake of love, she’d lost it all Oh, she sighed, I’ll always hear such a call Waves crashed, wind howled, she cried Surf rose, rain fell, and her hope died She whispered her secret to the sea And told of her tale, of love’s tragedy She called to the wind to carry her heart And give it to her lover now ever a part for in the ocean he lies, to forever sleep Locked in the arms of ocean so deep Thunder rolled, lightening flashed, she cried Storm raged, tears fell, and her heart died She cast her love into the stormy sea Begged it to reverse her fated destiny She heard his voice calling her there In that moment his fate she’d share The sea reaches for her, called her name She sleeps with her lover just the same Tears weep, skies cry, wind howls, she dies Rain falls, waves break, seas call, souls sighs Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning [This message has been edited by Marsha (edited 01-23-2001).] |

Circe love, I wrote this after reading a newspaper story about a girl who was drowned, it was a sad little tale and it inspired this. And I know the sea isn't always cruel I have a deep fondness for it, having been born by the sea. Almost literally the house no longer exists it fell in the sea. It's alright we weren't still living in it when it happened. Thanks love, for always supporting me Take care Mushy Sandra love, yes sweetie I'm fine, better than fine I have a weeks holiday, so I finally have some time to catch up on my reading. Thanks for caring love I do appreciate it, and I hope you are getting there too. Remember the phoenix rescue squad are always willing to fly in and support a fellow sister phoenix. If you need us just shout, or even whisper we'll hear anyway. Look after yourself Take care love Mushy Pepper love, thank you, yet more of my stretching, at this rate I'll be so stretched, I'll be as flat as a pancake. Thank you always Take care love Mushy Kari love, write stories!! Oh my goodness, love, well I'll try dear heart. And as long as you'll be my editor and whatnot, I might even be able to do a little one. Thank you muchly kid Take care love Majestic Marsha < !signature--> Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning [This message has been edited by Marsha (edited 01-24-2001).] |
