"Never-Ending Love" Quietly I watch as you sleep Your elegant sillouette laying softly on the bed As a hundred scattered thoughts Suffocate my cluttered head She threatens to shred us apart With her cruel tongue and even cruel ways Until the day our beautiful love Is carelessly washed away I sit powerless, not knowing what to do As you softly awake and our eyes meet Trying to give a voice to my thoughts Only to realize I'm unable to speak In this time of desperate need I cling to the last ray of hope with all my might Daring myself to just hang on another day Finding a way to stand up and fight But trials and tribulations Make the soul weary and weak That last ray of hope However, I still yearningly seek Something greater than the two of us Had our paths collide and merge as one I realized I was far in love with you Before our journey of love had even begun No going back in time No sense in looking to tomorrow For today is all we have I want it to be filled with happiness, and not such bitter sorrow Feeling your eyes on me I softly glance your way The love that I feel in my heart Completely has me swept away But the door is slamming shut And the walls are closing in I grasp to a rope that doesn't exist However, never will I feel our love is a sin They can beat me and burn me But my soul and heart they can never take They can torture and harrass me But the love I feel for you they can never break No matter what happens in the end Whether we end up together or not I need you to know an eternal place You shall always have inside of my heart I love you. Amy love, Firstly this is another of your utter wonders, you have such an amazing way of writing truth, and loves beauty. Absolutely wonderful work from you here. Secondly, hold onto your dreams sweetie, they are going to come true. For true love, will overcome all obstacles in your path. As I've said before, destiny would never have given you this love if it wasn't meant to be. No river too deep no mountain to high, you will get there. What a pouring of the heart this one is. There is no way to take love away from two who share it and those that would try should try first to understand how it would feel to have theirs disputed. Excellent write. |
