What is it that you ask? The question does remain What drives you to your task? In this roller coaster game Where one day we are down The next we’re simply not We try so not to drown In this visionary’s knot Is it love that truly scares me? Or lack of thought for it? Do I let these ties unbind me? Or grab a hold of it. Can there be just that one moment When I know just what to do See everywhere I’m going The lies we’re holding to What I need is just the knowledge A glimpse of what’s to be To know that we are living That love can set me free |

funny...was looking for old poems and since I'm feeling a bit cynical today myself---thought I'd send this around again. |

This is pretty good. I enjoyed it... the use of italics had a neat effect. ~Allan If I had your eyes, I'd be blind. For I can only see out of my own. ~~Carly Van Dort |
