To My Love Mine sweetest heart ~ thy recent supplication was not designed to cause me lament, nor spill acrid tears, I know… why does thou not believe in thy fortune? nay, question not thy father's commands… thou knowest I am to be yours ~ freely ~ but thine love is akin to Sol which belongs safe in the firmament nay, thou should not seek me for I shall come, and go ~ freely ~ I shall give thee rest between thy daily caressings with always this, mine promise, O love, of quick return… no reason can I give thee for this, thy gift of heart only to know that we are to embrace these gifts ~ as our fathers knew from the Wizard's own spoken words this plan of unity! What now! Woulds't thou turn away from thy Wizard's plan? Nay, my love, my liege, my lord… nay… not for us to question the powers that have guided the stars or that blow the wind ~ not for us to question the rise of surf, nor to count the stars in the firmament in Cimmerian night for this cannot be done ~ to accept, and accept in fine accord the gift of thy fathers for I shall and will come to thee in certitude of thy desires for cans't thou descry what should be e'en though 'tis said dreams might not come to thee nay, my love this maiden is naught thy dream but thy reality if thee should covet this largess and be thee this, my firmament, in which I may rise, and shine in thy countenance, only to rest in thy soul…. I shall see thee on the morrow thee shall knoweth me by the lightsome come from mine eyes to knoweth for once, and by God that this blessing is yours. Now, my love of heart, I bid thee adieu, till the morrow of our feasting day when, wedded as one united by bond thy shall know me as e'en thy explore the beat of thy heart or take a breath to exist thy shall know me. Till the morrow…. thy eternity awaits…. 01.21.1601 |

What a grand piece you've created that makes me think of Knights and fair maidens, round tables and shining armour and Damsels in distress And what a finish ~ Ruth www.angelfire.com/pa/OriginalMinds/index.html |

STANDING OVATION!!! Wow, what a masterpiece, thy dear friend! With wonderful Olde English and cadence, you have dripped love out from your overflowing heart with grace here. I loved this so much! Thank you for sharing, my friend! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Truly I lack the words to adequately express How beautiful I find this poem your 'love' is one most fortunate person - and I'm filled with envy |

Truly Poet of Light, thou hast indeed penned a poem of Love that will last for all of eternity. . . This Gentle Knight sighs in great admiration of thee and thy gift. . . and I, like Sir Wilfred before me, doth envy verily, thy "Love" greatly. . . ------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Oh, sigh, cry, sniff, this is too wonderful and emotional. I am a huge fan of this style you write with, also "nay, my love this maiden is naught thy dream but thy reality if thee should covet this largess" Those are lines I adore. As well as the rest of it. Sandra |

Now this is what poetry is about. Well done and finely expressed. If you find yourself stranded in a storm ...then reach for my hand and we will play in the puddles together |
