My Mirror Image

Eyes gentle with love look back at me
holding reflected pain from the past
yet burning bright is still seen the dream
that is held close to a loving heart

I see a smile of great tenderness
waiting and wanting to be embraced
and to taste the sweet kiss of true love
from moist lips waiting for lover's touch

My ears hear a voice soft and caring
with gentle sighs from loving heart
desiring to share all feelings
willing to give and receive love's trust

A feel a heart beating with pure love
as dreams are kept precious and alive
with the need to give all to true love
making two as one eternally

Passions burn with the brightest of flame
as love's desire flows in the flesh
craving the heated embrace of arms
making love to the one you love

I feel your presence deep in my heart
as my soul reaches out across space
and I see in your amazing eyes
the one who is my Mirror Image

Wow!~This moved me on so many levels. You have some beautiful imagery in this, it flowed well and I love the last verse. I've read this poem three times already and it gets better every time, I just love it
