Captured rage ignites with the bite, Of a crisp winter wind. Shush now lips that kiss with the fervor, Of a rain destined for flood waters. For in the heavens there is blue, But tis a cold blue at that, And the ground is a frozen empty site. Once there were rampaging limbs, Casting in all directions like flailing emotions. Cease now, Winter And grant my wish now for Spring, Because there is newness and promise there, And I tire of your drizzle on my face, Your tentacles of ice upon my heart. And when the winter wind ceases to blow, And incessantly whisper for attention, It will carry with it all these doubts, That it so gladly arrived with. Cease now winter, Let go of my heart. Cease now winter, Take away my grief. Cease now Winter. Be gone! Can I be your willful breeze, Come to touch, Your heart to ease? |

I hate spring and summer with a passion unknown to man or beast. May the winter forever hide what should otherwise never be seen. Let the coldness protect what is otherwise too weak to survive... Good poem, tho... ~The hardest thing is watching the one you love... love someone else.~ |

Thank you all for reading so far. I'd comment more, but I'm off to read; and perhaps I might post. Can I be your willful breeze, Come to touch, Your heart to ease? |

Insect, What to do when warm fires turn hot? Thanks for reading this. Its more about seasons of the heart than seasons of the earth if that makes sense. Can I be your willful breeze, Come to touch, Your heart to ease? |
