Crimson roses
fail to bloom
it's cold in February
and chocolate can be bitter
when love is denied
like an unopened
valentine...

So many emotions expressed in few words - wow!  Sadly, I will be forced to relate to this on Valentine's Day.  I really do love this, especially the lines "chocolate can be bitter, when love is denied, like an unopened valentine..."

Take care,
Melissa

Hi Sandra,

Powerful read here not to lengthy either   you know I don't think I have ever had someone do any thing really special on Valentine's Days for me, that holiday just seems to slip by without much fan fare, but this little gem is a keeper and I thank you.

Love, Cerenity

(big hugggsssssss) This is no doubt a powerful analogy to bittersweet, sweet friend, my heart goes out to you and I hope next Valentines Day the chocolate will taste sweeter than you can imagine and you will be showered with roses and love cards! (kiss on cheek) This I wish for you so much, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sandra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
