Every once in a while I slip my soul into the tide pools of my memories And find your warmth there……………… Swirling around me Every once in a while Thoughts of you wash over me And I am swept away……………………… Caught up in the tides of reminisce Every once in a while On the shores of "I remember when" I find your footsteps in the sand ………………………And trace them back to my heart ~SEA~ |

SEA, This is beautiful! Does he know that you still think fondly of him? Your poem is so appropriate for me right now; I have recently heard from a long-lost lover. These past weeks have been a sometimes difficult roller coaster ride between reminiscing about old times and being reminded of the inescapable present. Thank you for capturing what it is like to think of her again.  ) |

No, he is a dear friend, but he is much too busy with his life to remember me......I've given up on ever hearing from him again......and this is just part of healing that. I still think of him and miss him, but that's it.......thanks  -SEA |

I think we all have times when we feel like this but just didn't know how to say it and then you come along and do it so wonderfully for us. This was done very tenderly and lovely and I am glad that I found it this morning. |
