Heart Be Still By Richard Maxfield 8-16-2000 In the mystical forest Love grows tall and green Two lovers at play A man and his Queen Among leaves and flowers They share fervor divine Upon the table of love These two lovers dine Indulging in love All it has to give Enjoying lover’s touch Wondrous times they live Wrapped in glorious pleasure Varieties of the flesh Falling ever deeper in love Two spirits bond and mesh A covenant is born Never to be broken In passion, love is given Soft words are spoken I love you, Heart be still. Will you be? Yes I will. |

I just love soulmate themed poems.! I'm a hopeless romantic and this was just beautiful. The flow and expression was perfect. What a little gem from your heart. Take care, Melissa The beauty of poetry gives my soul wings to fly free within dreams |
