Frozen Reign Looked out and viewed the softened white that tipped the pinecones edge. Floating once again this morn, to cover window's ledge. Each time they drift their flakes towards me I reach in captures hold. But melt they do, as if my heart when eyes of mine, behold... The steps of yours, the imprints of my thoughts that trail behind. Wishes held in secret, cloaked and pocketed, will find... Every moment's wake with you, Every laughter's ring, Every sighing breath inhaled, Every exhaled sing... To feel, to be, existing, I with only words to show, that every flake of memory adds to the rivers flow. So once again, with nose pressed cold against that frosted pane, I am in dreams, of yesterday, a myst of frozen reign. ~Wynter < !signature--> "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (edited 01-18-2001).] |
