Darkness Of Night In the darkness of night My dreams take a flight Across the moon My signature tune Among the stars Stop off on Mars But fly high But fly on a sigh In the deep of dreams Sleep is not all it seems Heat is there Flames to share Take a chance In loves’ dance But seek heat But seek a beat In the silence of sleep Lovers’ taste to keep Liquid in sips Taste my lips Feel all this Hold that kiss But savour the taste But savour the race Deep within my heart Dreams fall quite apart Bubbles my desire Held in loves fire Touch the flame Play the game But breathe the night But breathe loves flight Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

I enjoyed this..the subject grabs me from the beginning (I love dreams!) and the rythym and pacing is excellent. This poem would sound great put to music. |

Marsha~ You are truly a master of rhyme and flow! There was a hint of sadness, of yearning, where you could only find this type of ecstasy in dreams, yet this was also a lovely read! Take care, Melissa The beauty of poetry gives my soul wings to fly free within dreams |
