[img]http://members.nbci.com/_XMCM/cap321/Poems/storm2[1].gif[/img] Riding the Storm with the front tyre worn, more ragged with each turn of the wheel with the bowed chain clattering in my mind it is not mattering, with wet hair peeled back from my eyes; Late spring rain, all dressed up, so snug as a bug in a rug I feel, Another problem arises I ask myself why, I lift up my chin & wonder reassured no one wants to drink from my cup; Shoulder into the rubber, throttle not making me bored, Than up like a bird on the wing having soared final destination I make it that's good Then if I can make it through dinner, I can make it through pudding. |
