Lover's Notes

Love songs often change.
Love comes quickly, then can die.
Hearts become aware
As the lover's play sad songs
In the key of 'goodbye notes'.

Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood.
T S Eliot

Katherine,

"..sad songs.." But what would we do without them. Thanks for this pleasing reminder.

Ah, the birth of the blues, and how I love them with coffee in the morning just prior to the rise of sun. Without fodder, an american voice - those of the blues- would not be born.

Goodbye is the saddes note of all; there is always an element of pain in any relationship, isn't there? Thank you for this short and meaningful post.

Oh do I relate! My heart and soul are SO sensitive to words of songs, that I run to turn them off! My mind forgets until a song reminds me, great job Kate, now start singing, "Happy Days Are Here Again", and I am sure there are lots of us will join in the chorus (p.s. move to Forum 13 I almost missed you).
