Be not sad my dearest one
For god has done his part
He brought us both together
And he joined us heart to heart

Our love burns hot as fire
Yet refreshes like April showers
It’s strong as tempered iron
Yet as delicate as flowers

You’re my wild rose, my love
You bloom more every day
My finest porcelain china doll
Who’s lovely in every way

You are my inspiration, dear
And heal me with your smiles
Restored my sagging soul with love
And carried me for miles

I’ll be your charming king, my queen
Your shining armored knight
To guide you through life’s treacherous paths
And light your way through life

This I vow to you, beloved
That we shall never part
Our love shall grow more every day
For we’re joined heart to heart.
