I crept in to your dream last night,
u didn't know I was there.
I kissed your eyes, nose, lips,
and gently touched your hair.

Rubbing your back and watching you relax,
looking so sweet as you were lying there,
still as the morning dew.
Although you couldn’t feel me,
I still knew just what to do.

I held you oh so close to me,
it never felt so right.
But I knew I had to leave,
at the break of morning light.

And when I saw the break of dawn,
and the sun began to raise,
I whispered those 3 words,
then left as tears filled my eyes.
