beauty and the beast

Hearing her voice
so soft and sweet.
Pulls the true man
out of the beast.

The touch of her hand alone
warm and gentle.
Makes loving her seem
all so simple.

For she looks deeper
than his exterior
To face the beast
does not fear her

Because when he looks into her eye’s
it claims the beast.
For he sees nothing
but love and peace

To all the land
from west to east.
I use to be
that very beast.

But if you can recall
the beauty and the beast tale
Just one kiss from her
broke my spell.

Love can do so much for us, and it's absence can bring back the beast, also..
