I woke up this morning to
       NOTHING
All the joy I had found now
       NOTHING
A few minutes more one way
or the other and what would
have happened?
       NOTHING
If only he hadnt called me
If only we had said one
less I love you
Then I wouldnt be here with
       NOTHING
Where my heart should be
       NOTHING
To look forward to now
       NOTHING
To ease the ache inside
       NOTHING
Where his love once was
       NOTHING

Paula what a heartfelt longing in this, I felt the emptiness of it all and I only hope you get through this with your heart not too battered...~HUGS~ floating you way sweetie

Paula this is a unique creative format. What a great way to emphasize the sadness in your heart. The words stick in the reader's mind because of the emptiness of the nothing that fills up the days of the writer....well done!!
