On Raven’s Wings Virginia Salter as sleep begins to pull me down to a crashing blow I teeter on the edge the blackness of the room beyond computer’s glow echos scratchy sounds a faint image looks at me, as she steps into the night she watches a spy on raven’s wings © March 20, 2001 |

Okay........I'm sleeping with the light on now. *smiling* Nice write, VAS! The greatest part of a writer's time is spent in reading, in order to write; a man will turn over half a library to make one book. |

Ok Virginia! If you say so...you got me scared now....I'd have to go and sleep in front of the TV or something like that! thought provoking! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |
