Fresh food
New flower fragrances
Sometimes a dull appearance
Yet we're attracted

New love
Young love
Drawn by sight
Drawn by words
Held by scent

Old love
Not so young
Not so fresh
Held by habit?

Then
Showered
Lightly scented
Halston - Lauren
We're perked up
Tantalized
As in ages past
We're still wanted
Still desired
Drawn by the unseen
Still loved

The first duty of love is to listen.

I really like this. Left me with a smile...... Nice write, Wilfred.

The greatest part of a writer's time is spent in reading, in order to write; a man will turn over half a library to make one book.

How could you ask for more....wonderful write!!

The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges.

this stinks!!! ROFL... just kidding, dear sir, you know my silly sense of humor....

but truthfully, this has an aura of scents to it... and it makes perfect sense in the array and display of sensual imagery... and oh how i love a poem with the aroma of Love.....

this one was #1 and it was chosen to be herald as one of your most prime writings.... a veritable treat for the sweetness of the olfactory.....

mmmmmm..... smells delightful!
