it was just a word
left on top of a car
when a lover left in a hurry
it slid off
into the gutter
and floated past my empty bottle

I picked it up
and rubbed out the scratches
painted some nicks
sharpened the edges
I polished it with care
and wrapped it in velvet

you didn't look up
when I stood there
with it under my arm
or when I wrote the note
within this wrapping
please find...

an almost new goodbye

OWG~
Welcome to Passions.

I like this piece you've delivered.
Hope we'll see more from you.

Take your time and look around ...
much to see and be here.

OWG, Welcome to Passions. I see a curious layering of implication in this interesting poem and am looking forward to reading more of your work.

Welcome to Passions, I believe you will enjoy it as much as I have for the past year!

Welcome to Passions---a mysterious and intriguing poem, it seems filled with deep meaning that only those who've been there can fully comprehend
