Don’t buy me presents… Don’t pay my bills… Don’t think your money can pay for your thrills... Yes, I am wanting, but I will be fine... You ask what’s my pleasure? it’s more of your time... Time is more worthy if given in trust... It makes up in measure for pleasure and lust... We never can own it, but give it the same... And play it through life, like it’s dice in a game... So, give me a minute... an hour or two... Give it to me, and I’ll share it with you... I’m here, and I’m waiting, it’s no easy task... To spend time together, is all that I ask... Live...Love...Be grateful for both!! |

Oh boy Sunny, you are so right. I know this is true, believe me a person KNOWS when someone is not giving of their time, they just know. Loved this one, you are a lovely lady. Kathleen Blake |

Sunny - you are most precious with your writing. Yes, you may have any part of my time that you wish. What a gracious poem written by a master with a warm heart. BC |

You know that I have read your work many times but I always overlooked the wonderful musical rythum that you employ when you write and I have to come around and look at it another way....and it's so fine for sure! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |
