Is she my Fairy Princess, the face I cannot see, hiding in my memory, when I was closer their to tease; I stood on what was good & right, to uphold my angels stand, have fairy wings now flown away, & left an unchanged man; You may well be distant now, though I hope you ponder this, strength increases every day, speed like sinking ships; Without the wings to sprightly hover, alone adrift in a world with bother, awaiting your whisper from birds in flight, & a light winds reassurance, our future is in sight; The truth like the warmth I cuddle to my skin, respite from the clamour that dares set in. Your wisdom & love I learn & I cling, your memory our future my princess I sing; |

I suspect I loved this because I fancy myself a princess, I admired the graphics, they made me smile.. this was one of those "feel good" kinda reads. Great writing dear heart. Princess (aka:Kate) Be blessed.. Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood. |
