China CupI glance behind to treasure truth as delicate, the years of youth. But searching youth, I cannot find those teeming thoughts of pleasure's time. Instead, lies stab and slur and bone, a younger me, in dark, alone. A china cup in tub of swill to chip and crack as china will, when left for hands of roughened skin to jar the little girl within. But ages roll and mindful, I examine chips in china's lie, as light's diffuse in lucent stir reveals each jagged piece of her. Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

This is very sad and mournful, though I don't know why. Joyce |

Claire, yet you hold this china cup near and dear to you....and in your hold, it is most safe.... |

Claire~ Symbolically, the china cup reflects the chips and cracks found in us all ~ Such fragile thoughts you share ~ *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

yes, this is very thoughtful, sad tho. Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning. |

Our jagged edges we see realize most as we make those around us begin to bleed There is much herein. My compliments. "Be your own hero. Save your interior landscape. As in all mythos the blight can be defeated and the land turned back to freedom and fertility. |
