Daystreams Virginia Salter the wet, wet land and sky of gray cede and heed to light of day as sun begins its fortitude glistening droplets, excite exudes the brilliance has me in its grip as eaves begin to cease their drip squinting eyes adjust to gleam as light comes down in glorious streams bright’ning spirit with heaven’s bold taking ‘way this feel of cold I drink it in with greatest thirst should it be more, I’d surely burst © March 18, 2001 |
