~*~ Will I Kiss A Hummingbird? ~*~Flower petals are my blanket, When at night I go to sleep, Stamens are the mattress, I lay on counting sheep. Tomorrow I'll awaken to the sound, Of a busy little bumble bee, Stretch my tiny fairy wings, and, Greet the new day that I see. Will I kiss a hummingbird, Or folic in a fairy ring, Maybe I'll stop a rippling brook, I can do almost anything. I shall sit on the wings of dragons, Collect all the pearls in the sea. Maybe, I'll ride upon a unicorn, Do you think someone will envy me? I'll dance with fairies in meadows, And with gnomes, I'll have some tea, I can ride the colors of a rainbow, There is nothing that I can not be. I can fulfill all my fantasies, Let my mind drift away at will, Visit dungeons, dragons, fairies, I close my eyes and dream so still. Yes, I can do all these things, Be anything that I wish to be, But I have to tell you honestly, I would be no one else but me! For Tori – March 17, 2001 ~*~Angelwinks, fairy dust, and a twinkle star~*~ ~*~I will always love you no matter where you are~*~ ~*~A poet is someone who reads more than they write ~*~ [This message has been edited by Mysteria (edited 03-18-2001).] |

Seems fairy magic is sprinkled everywhere in this poem. Sweet and soothing. A sigh for a sigh. So nice. Best wishes Rosemary |

Joyce, Raindrops, and Koko: This was a bedtime poem for my Granddaughter last night. She has had the flu and missed me, so thanks to cyberspace her Daddy read her one of my "special" bed time poems. Thanks for reading it. |

Marge...ahhhh yourself! Thanks for sending it so I can frame it. This was for Tori to be read at bedtime last night, and she loved it, so I will get it framed for her and I do thank you. |

Tori is going to have a very special book of memories. It reminds me of a dear friend who is an Aunt. She's carefully phographed each event and accomplishment of her niece and nephew. Now they are old enough to ask Aunt Mary to get down the book of "my life". Great fun to build memories for others. Wonderful poem, graphics and music. "I am not now that which I have been." |
