Silence, eradicated my words. Extracting them, what would I gain? In my pain(which is indescribable), I sufficate. My heart, is pierce. In the meantime, I smile. No one can know, my sorrows. Not today, perhaps tomorrow. I breath, just enough to live. My mind, I keep occupied. Is this insane, can I just walk away? Not today, perhaps tomorrow. A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes. |

Nice form to this poem. Substance I can taste and feel. When you are ready, open the door to the sun and fresh air, until then - peace. Julian Lester |

I liked this one alot--it did remind me of a Spanish friend I had once whose only answer to the question "when" was "manana"--and finally in frustration, I told him, but you told me you "manana" yesterday!" He laughed and called me a gringo, and said "manana does not mean "tomorrow"--it just means 'not today.'" Hope that I returned the smile for you! |

Heartfelt poetry, but sometimes silence is not golden. Joyce |
