I saw the title "fundelicious" on the board and my mind instantly started in cultivating the following poem. Now, I'll go read 'fundelicious.'

It’s a Dilly!!
Virginia Salter

round and green
long and bumpy
tart and tangy to the taste
juicy, crunchy, down right munchy
I’ll not let one morsel
find its way to waste

like it with a samich
like it all alone
like it when I’m famished
even on the phone
like it sliced
and on a burger
or with a bit of fish
it’s nice

I’ll have it with a Reuben
with a deli lunch
I lick the juices from it
then bite it with a crunch
Yes, dilly pickles
suit my fancy
wouldn’t you agree?
They are great
with friends named Clancy
on a trip across the sea.

You're right this is a dilly. I love its rhythm and I think I'll go have a samich. Joyce

This is cute! and I'm happy to be of some sort of "fun" inspiration! And while pickles don't particularly thrill me? I always seem to be in one!
