There was once a man who couldn't do much
Everytime he reached, he couldn't touch
Everything he said was so much wind
So he'd just stand around and listen again

He heard everything that people had done,
But when you've heard them all, you've just heard one
So he began to listen all around
To a wider spectrum of sound

When he'd done heard all there was to do hear
He began to search for something new here
There's more silent things than that sound something
So he listened to the shades of nothing

But things began to get a little bit weird
What he heard no one had ever adheared
Since silence sounds more or less the same
His mind played a silent little game

He heard
Rocks in the sky
The sun in his eyes
Wood, water, earth
In the time flying by
The skin of grass
And when he heard love
Honey ran out of his ear

Do you hear?

Not sure I understand all of this. But the last part makes a lot of sense.

Best wishes.

=====================

what a very cool line...
and whats this??? A serious poem from Toe?
well its a wisdom and cadence kissed gem from your pen.
well done poet sir

We wish ourselves beautiful,
we cry in the night.
Its not the love you fear ...
its the fall from the height.

Aha! Caught the genius at work!

Superb, Toe, I know you don't want anyone to know, but you are a poet!
