If my world should end tomorrow, and the book of days be closed… If I had but one last chance to look upon the paths I chose… I’d look back upon my journey, see my life within it play… I would know as I know now… I had great love along the way… As a child, I felt the passion, living by the changing sea… Where I learned to love all nature… It became a part of me… Running free with young emotion, love unbridled…filled with youth… Innocent and undiscovered… Where the beauty lies in truth… I saw love as a young mother, holding babies on her arm… In the eyes that looked up to me, love was there in tender charm… I knew love was still inside me, on the day life fell apart… Only love could cause the breaking, of that young wife’s aching heart… Many years I wandered, lonely… Tried it all, and walked away… Left some love undone behind me, knowing I could never stay… Now I see that love was with me, though I tried to shut it out… And the lovers I remember, taught me what love’s all about… Then without my even knowing, true love paid my life a call… Opened up my heart’s closed windows, held me up, so I could fall… Love was there on that bright morning, when two lives became as one… And it tied our hearts together… Twenty years, and we’re not done! So, I cherish all my journeys, and I keep the lessons learned… And I hold onto the special love, for which I always yearned… If I had but one tomorrow, spent on looking back this way… I would smile, for I see now, I had great love along the way… Write on! -<--<--{(@ [This message has been edited by Sunny1 (edited 01-15-2001).] |

'So, I cherish all my journeys, and I keep the lessons learned… And I hold onto the special love, for which I always yearned… If I had but one tomorrow, spent on looking back this way… I would smile, for I see now, I had great love along the way…' Beautiful reflections, sunny! I love this one! sp I won't go; I won't sleep; I can't breathe until you're resting here with me... |
