 ~ * ~I Make A Wish~ * ~by Mysteria I know it is only wishful thinking and dreaming, But I fantasize, about sitting with Luna on the moon. I wonder what she thinks about all the lonely hearts, Who wish on a twinkling star that love to find them soon? My favorite time is dusk when all the stars so gently fall. The lazy moon’s shadow softly glides over this land. A tiara of stars, over the sky so slowly crawls. I pick one ~*~ make a wish~*~ just to hold someone’s hand. When the stars and moonlight are looking down upon me, The ebony sky is illuminated with a glorious silver light, I pray that someone soon will find and love me, A special someone, to share the music of the night. I wish on a star for someone to cherish that love, I wish for a soul mate, a lover, as each new dawn breaks. I want someone beside me, who will simply adore me, I need to know that feeling, in the morning, when I awake. Will someone look inside my soul, and see the passion there? Look beyond the package, see a heart so empty and so cold, See me for who I really am, lonely, needing someone to care. I wear my heart on my sleeve, my sadness is easily told. My favorite time of the day ~ dusk ~ stars are falling. When the moon’s shadow softly glides over this land. A plaintive cry made by so many, strongly stated. We all really need someone for our friend, companion, soul mate, if we would but turn and look in the right direction, if only we would and then looking...see. |
