HERE AND THERE Although I may be far away, I’m thinking of you everyday. Each time I lay me down to rest, I feel your love of which I’m blessed. The little things you say and write, Are with me each and every night. Your crazy laugh, your sweetest smile, Are right here with me all the while. The precious times we both have known, Come back to me when I’m alone. Today just like the day before, I see you less, and miss you more. A silence falls around me here, As one more day does disappear. But soon I will be sleeping deep, With all the thoughts my heart does keep. Where once again we shall embrace, In some romantic dreamy place. So even when we’re far apart, You’re with me in both head and heart. A day is never far from sight, When we can hold each other tight, But until then, just be aware, You’re often here with me, when there. Copyright:Alexander:October:2000. |
