Should I forget, you need only
touch my hand lightly
Use your fingertip to tilt my chin
so my eyes meet yours
for an instant
and I shall remember instantly

There is no breath in yesterday
No movement or life
Only images stained upon the pages
of the mind

And I should hate to lose a day with you
for staying too long
in a memory

After years of searching, I have found I am nothing more, nothing less...I am in truth Just A Woman after all.

Yes when gone to long that is all that will be is memories. Maybe the touch needs to felt by both.

Like your words.

Very nice piece, ethereal in nature and filled with wisdom. The flow is gentle, yes tender.
