It’s Just a Pillow

A pillow
A form in my mind
Soft and comfortable
Becalming and kind
Strange what it becomes
So warm and molding
Strange how it acts
My dreams beholding

It’s just a pillow
Only sees me at night
Doesn’t even move
But it feels so right
It’s fluff and material
A shape, nothing less
Takes a cherished dream
Only my cheek to caress

It’s just a pillow
A place for some ease
But somehow it finds me
And gives me release
Allows in my reverie
Once and again of you
It’s just a pillow
In coverlet blue

Lady,

I enjoyed this very much. My pillow is years and year old. (should I admit that?) :-) Anyway, it conforms so well to the shape of "me" that I'm hanging on to it for as long as I can. This was nice. Thanks for sharing.

My pillow has to be just so. I know when someone has switched pillows. Mine fits my head just right. Enjoyed!!!!!!

Funny how such a simple thing can hold such meaning. I love the way you've said this.

In our pillow rest our most intimate thoughts, Beautifully said!

Lady, when I get the chance to slip in here and I see your name I know I'm guaranteed beauty. This is utterly divine.
